Executive Assistant:  This position reports to the Director of Operations.  Must be experienced working with senior executives, executive teams and board members. Must be professional, well organized, self-manager, technically proficient in MS Office software with superior written and verbal communication skills.  Experience in Human Resources and/or non-profit organizations helpful.  Responsibilities and income will grow with the organization. Accounting Assistant:  This position reports to the Controller.  Demonstrated construction & job costing experience required. Must have the ability for professional level accounting work in the maintenance and review of fiscal records. The position requires considerable knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounting functions. This individual is responsible for the general ledger, job cost, bank reconciliations and accounts payable. Additional responsibilities include performing monthly closings, maintenance of accounting files, and preparation/organization of various financial forms, reports, and financial analyses, etc.  Responsibilities and income will grow with the organization. ReStore Manager:  This position reports to the Director of Business Operations.  Habitat’s ReStore is a retail warehouse operation selling construction materials, fixtures, appliances, furniture and lighting among other related home improvement items. Responsible for daily operation of one store including but not limited to sales, customer service and supervision of employees and volunteers.    Must have demonstrated retail management experience, outgoing personality and be a motivated, self-manager.  Experience in home improvement and building materials helpful.  Responsibilities and income will grow with the organization. Credit Representative

BARSTOW • Despite an overall flagging economy, business is booming at the Marine Corps Logistics Base — so much so that officials say they are looking to immediately hire between 400 to 600 workers. The positions will mainly be temporary one year, entry-level positions at the MCLB’s Maintenance Center in Yermo, according to Frank Alston, head of the center’s production department.

The positions, mostly vehicle maintenance, will range in wages from $17 to $30 an hour, according to Michael Holtz,  workforce development specialist at the San Bernardino County

    A 52 year old female and member of the crossing is seeking a room to rent. She has visited several homes that were posted in various classifieds and they were disconcerning.
